How to pay for your a-thon pledge
When you participate in an a-thon campaign you can choose to make an immediate donation or pledger per activity:
When you pledge per activity your gift will not be charged until the end of the fundraiser. Once the campaign has ended and participants have entered their activity count, your total pledge payment is calculated and the organization will charge your card. Once your payment is processed you'll receive an automatic email receipt.
How to retry a failed payment for your a-thon pledge
Cards can be declined for any number of reasons!
The easiest thing to do is to head here and retry the charge manually. You would have also received an email after the payment was unsuccessful, including a link to retry your payment.
When retrying your payment, you can use either a new card or the one already on file. If the payment goes through, you'll see a confirmation on the screen. The payment status will then update automatically for both you and the nonprofit!
