BetterWorld doesn't charge organizations a platform fee, nor do we take a percentage out of what organizations raise on our site. We rely entirely on the generosity of individual supporters to keep our platform running and to cover the costs of running campaigns for nonprofits.

To do this, we include a suggested contribution on winning bids, purchased tickets etc. This suggested contribution, starts at $0.99 for winning bids, tickets, etc, and $0.25 for donations helps cover the costs of running each campaign and helps nonprofits keep 100% of what they raise.

Donors who prefer not to contribute to help cover these costs for the nonprofit are able to opt-out of this contribution.

Individuals may also include an optional tip to help support BetterWorld's mission of keeping fundraising free for all nonprofits. These contributions help us continue to develop world-class tools and help cover the fundraising costs for organizations that can't afford to do so. If you've previously contributed to us and would like to change the amount or request a refund for any reason, please contact our support team and we'll take care of that ASAP.
