There are multiple ways to update the trackable milestones for participants in your A-Thon campaign. In this example, we're tracking books for participants in a Read-A-Thon.
How do I update the milestone for participants in my A-Thon?
1. From the dashboard click Donation campaigns.
2. Click Manage for the campaign that you are updating.
3. Click Participants.
4. Click Book Counts along the top bar.
5. Locate the participant you wish to update in the table and type in the number of books completed. Alternatively, you can utilize the arrows to choose an amount. Click Save for each participant that you update.
For another way to enter milestones for a participant follow these steps:
1. Click directly on the participants name on the Participants page in your dashboard.
2. . Scroll down until you get to the section named "Pledge settings". Enter the amount and click Save.
3. Participants are able to enter their own milestone count in their account. If you'd like to disable that, click the box Prevent the participant from making edits to their XX count. Click Save.
How can Participants update the milestones themselves?
1. Participants may edit their milestone count by logging into BetterWorld. If they are logged in, they can click on My account in the upper right corner.
2. On their Activity page, they can click on Peer-to-Peer campaigns along the left side.
3. Click Edit next under the correct donation page.
4. Scroll down to the campaign settings and enter the amount in the XX completed field. Click Save.
