Follow these simple steps to establish the connection:
Transactions → Gifts: Automatically push donation and transaction data from BetterWorld into Blackbaud as structured gift records along with associated Constituent.
Donors → Constituents: Synchronises donor information to Blackbaud constituents.
Connecting your data to Blackbaud
Access the Blackbaud Marketplace
To begin, connect your Raiser’s Edge NXT account to BetterWorld in the Blackbaud Marketplace.
Visit this link: BetterWorld on Blackbaud Marketplace
Or navigate to Integrations in BetterWorld and click “Go to Blackbaud Marketplace.”
Connect the app
In the Marketplace, click “Connect” on the left-hand side and accept the confirmation dialog.
Return to BetterWorld
After the connection is established, return to the Integrations page in BetterWorld and initiate the login process.
Authorize access
Blackbaud will prompt you to authorize BetterWorld so data can be synced. Approve the authorization to continue.
Confirm success
Once authorization is complete, you’ll be redirected back to the Integrations page in BetterWorld and see a success message.
Please note: After logging in, transactions will not sync unless a default fund is set. When creating a Gift object in Blackbaud, an associated Fund object is required. You can set your default Fund in the integrations page
Please note: If you’d like to assign a specific Fund per campaign, you can do so in the campaign’s advanced settings. This will override the default Fund.
