Connect BetterWorld to Canva (one-time setup)

Before you can use Create with Canva, you’ll need to connect your Canva account.

  1. Log in to your BetterWorld dashboard.

  2. Click the dropdown in the upper-right corner and select Team settings.

  3. Click Integrations, then open the Canva tab.

  4. Click Connect BetterWorld to Canva.

  5. When Canva asks for permission, click Allow.

  6. Now you can see your integration connected and can choose to create your standard donation campaign banner directly from this page.

Please Note: You only need to do this once. After Canva is connected, you can create or edit images using Create with Canva in your standard donation campaign settings.

Create your images in Canva

  1. From your BetterWorld dashboard, click Donation campaigns.

  2. Find the standard donation campaign you want to update, then click Manage.

  3. In the left menu, click Settings and scroll to the campaign image section.

  4. Click Create with Canva.

  5. Choose a template, then customize your banner.

  6. When you’re done, click Return to BetterWorld in the upper-right corner to import your banner.

Please note: Your banner won’t appear in BetterWorld until you click Return to BetterWorld.

Edit or remove your banner later

After your banner is imported, you can update or delete it anytime: by heading to Settings and clicking Pencil icon or the Remove Canva Image button.

Please note: Long, high-quality horizontal images with subjects roughly centered tend to look best. (The exact dimensions are 2000 x 667). Because the banner's visible width and height can vary by screen size, avoid placing important graphics or text near the edges of the image, as they may be cropped on some devices. Adding a bit of vertical and horizontal padding around the main subject can help the image display well across a wider range of screens.
