Item Donations are generally deductible in the amount of their fair market value, but we recommend you consult a tax professional to determine your standing.

If you filled out an organization's Item Donation Form, you would have received an automatic email receipt thanking you for your contribution, including all the necessary details for tax-filing purposes. Here's an example:
