What Is a Max Bid?
A max bid is how you can tell the platform the most you are willing to bid on an Auction item so it can bid on your behalf until that amount. If you place a max bid, you can lay back and relax as the platform will bid for you incrementally whenever another bidder makes a bid!
If your max bid is outbid you will receive an automatic email notification that you have been outbid. The email will contain the link to return to the bidding page, so you can bid again or set another max bid!
If two individuals place the same max bid, priority will go to the individual who placed it first, and the second individual will be notified that they were outbid.

How to Place a Max Bid Step-by-Step
β
1. Click on the item you wish to bid on from the Auction to go to that item's bidding page.
2. Scroll down the page until you see "Set max bid" on the right side, below the regular bid option.
3. Enter the amount you are willing to pay for that item and click Set your max bid.
4. BetterWorld will place the next minimum bid for you. Should you get outbid, BetterWorld will bid for you again until you win the item or your max bid has been outbid. If this happens, you will receive an automatic email notification that you have been outbid. The email will contain the link to return to the bidding page, so you can bid again or set another max bid!
β
You can also increase the max bid by going to the item directly, or you can see all your bids here and click Raise my max bid.
