This guide provides a step-by-step process for effectively checking in guests and assigning paddle numbers at events, ensuring a smooth experience for both the host and attendees.
1. Navigate to https://dashboard.betterworld.org/
2. On your dashboard, click Ticketed events
3. Find your event and click Manage
4. Click Attendees
Tip: If you prefer to check guests in using a phone or tablet, you will just need to be logged into the dashboard from your device. You will scan the QR code on your camera and the dashboard will open on your device's internet browser. The check-in process will be the same.
5. You can search for the guest's name, or scan their QR code ticket
6. Once you find the guest, Click the ACTIONS column button beside the guest's name.
7. To assign a paddle number, click "Edit guest"
8. Click the "Paddle/bidder number" field. Type the paddle number and click Save
Tip: Tip! This is also the section where you can change who the ticket belongs to or edit the guest's question responses.
9. To check the guest in, click the ACTIONS column button beside the guest's name
10. Click "Check in"
11. When the guest is checked in, the "Checked in?" box will be green. If you make a mistake, you can click ACTIONS and "Undo check-in"
12. To change the columns that are displayed, click here. For example, you can choose whether or not to display the table and seat assignments, the checked-in status, the paddle number, and custom question responses.
