Check In Guests Using Their Name
When a guests purchases a ticket, their name is automatically added to your event's Attendees List. You can easily use this list to check in your guests at the event! Here's how:
1. Head over to your Dashboard and click Manage on your Ticketed Event campaign.
2. Now choose Attendees on the left side menu to view your Attendees List.
3. Here you will find your Attendees List where you will check in your guests electronically at the door. You could also download this list for traditional paper and pen check-in, if preferred! Just click the Export Attendees button in the top right corner.
4. To check in a guest electronically, find the name you wish to check in. Then click the 3 dots under the Actions column, and choose Check in. This will highlight your guest in green and mark them as checked in!
Please Note: If you checked in someone accidentally, you can always undo the check-in by clicking on the three dots and clicking Undo check-in.
Check In Guests by Scanning Their QR Code Ticket
When a guests purchases a ticket, they are automatically emailed a QR code ticket. You can easily scan these QR codes to check in your guests at the event! Here's how:
1. Log in to BetterWorld on the device you will be using to scan tickets at the door (phones and tablets with cameras and internet connection will work).
2. Once logged in, you are ready to start scanning QR codes! To scan a guest's QR code ticket, simply open your camera app on your device and point it to the QR code.
3. Now you will be redirected to the Ticketed Event's Attendees page.
4. Scroll down to the "Event check in" section. Here you can edit any of the attendee's information and assign a paddle number if needed. Then click the Check in button.

Please Note: If you checked in someone accidentally, you can click "Go to Attendees table" and undo the check-in by clicking on the three dots next to their name and clicking Undo check-in.
