When you create a BetterWorld account you automatically become the account owner of that organization. As such you receive special notifications that other account administrators do not receive. When you want to take a backseat or are handing off your organization's BetterWorld account entirely, you will want to change the account ownership over. To change the account owner head to your Team Settings section of our dashboard. Follow the steps below:

1. From the dashboard click your organization's name in the top right corner of the screen. Select Team Settings from the dropdown menu.

2. Next, click Team in the left sidebar.

3. Great! Here you can see all your team members. Current account owners have a crown symbol next to their name. New account owners can be any of the account administrators on your team. Here you can learn more about inviting new members, if the account owner is not yet a member of your team. To make an account administrator the account owner click the three dots in the action column next to their name and choose Make account owner.

4. Click Confirm.

Done! You have successfully reassigned account ownership!
