Using our public Zapier app, you can now connect BetterWorld to thousands of other apps, such as Google Sheets, Mailchimp, and Slack.
What you’ll need before you start
A BetterWorld admin login
A free or paid Zapier account
Access to the email address connected to your BetterWorld account
Connecting the BetterWorld Zapier app
Step 1: Start your Zap
Log in to your Zapier account.
Click Create Zap in the top-left corner. Click Zaps.
In the Trigger field, search for and select BetterWorld.
Step 2: Choose a trigger event
From the list of available triggers, choose the one that fits your workflow.
Step 3: Connect your BetterWorld account
Under the account section, click Sign in.
In the pop-up window, enter the email address associated with your BetterWorld account.
Step 4: Setting up your action step
Once your BetterWorld trigger is set up, it’s time to define what happens next.
Under the Action step, search for the app you’d like to connect (e.g., Google Sheets, Mailchimp, Slack, Airtable).
Choose the action event that fits your needs—for example:
Create Spreadsheet Row (Google Sheets)
Send Email (Gmail)
Post Message (Slack)
Zapier will prompt you to connect your account for that app (if you haven’t already).
You’ll then map the data from BetterWorld (like donation amount, donor name, or item purchased) to the fields in the destination app. Here is our field mapping guide.
After mapping your fields, click Test & Continue to ensure everything works.
When you're ready, click Publish Zap.
Please Note: Every app works a little differently in Zapier. For best results, follow Zapier's on-screen tips and preview each step.

Please Note: You'll need to test each Zap before turning it on to make sure it works as expected.
