How to manage the campaigns in your event

You can manage the campaigns in your BetterWorld Event from the event's Overview page. The Overview page shows the amount raised, a progress bar, the supporter count, the end date, and a list of your event's campaigns.

For each campaign in the list, you can:

  • Feature it: Show one campaign in its own row at the top of your Event page. Only public campaigns can be featured.

  • Change the order: Drag the campaign cards to change the order they appear in on your Event page.

  • Hide it: Move the campaign to Hidden on event page. A hidden campaign stays in the Event, but donors won't see it, and its money doesn't count toward the Event total.

  • Unlink it: Remove the campaign from the Event. The campaign itself isn't deleted. Please Note: You can't hide or unlink a campaign that one of your Event page header buttons links to. Change or turn off that button first. A campaign can be part of more than one Event, and unlinking it from one Event leaves it in the others.

Here's how to make these changes:

  1. From the dashboard click Events, then Manage on the event you'd like to edit.

  2. Click the three dots on the campaign you'd like to edit, then select your action from the dropdown.

How to add more campaigns to your event

1. From the dashboard click Events, then Manage on the event you'd like to edit.

2. On the Overview page scroll to the bottom and click Add more campaigns.

3. Select the campaigns from the list. You can search by name, sort the list or scroll and select the ones you'd like to add.

4. Once selected, click Link campaign.

How to customize your event page header

1. To change your BetterWorld Event page header after you've created your event, head to the Event section and click Manage on your event.

2. Click Settings, then Page header.

3. Here you can update the header image, the appeal to donors, the progress bar and supporter count, and up to two buttons. The appeal to donors is one line, up to 255 characters, shown under your event name.

4. Each header button has a label and can do one of the following:

  • Link to a campaign: Only campaigns donors can see are available. If that campaign later becomes private or archived, the button disappears from your Event page.

  • Link to an external page: The link opens in a new tab.

  • Scroll to a page section: Jump to About this event or Ways to give.

5. Once you're done making changes, click Save.
