Donating anonymously is possible on all BetterWorld campaigns which display recent donors! Even if a donor chooses to remain anonymous, the donation amount will still be publicly visible.
On the checkout page for a Crowdfunding or Peer-to-Peer campaign, you have the option of selecting the checkbox next to "This is a private donation", as shown below. Clicking this box ensures both your name and message to the organization are received privately and are not shown on the campaign page! However, note that while your name and message are private, the donation amount will still appear on the campaign's public contribution list.
If you are participating in a Paddle Raise campaign, you have the option to pledge privately by clicking the check box next to "Give anonymously" (example below). The pledged amount, however, will still be visible on stage or in public displays as part of the campaign's progress metrics.
Checking this box will allow you to participate in the Paddle Raise by counting your pledge in the progress meter, without having your name displayed on the projected view. Instead, your recent donation will be displayed under the name of "Anonymous" as shown below:
Other BetterWorld campaigns are automatically anonymous, as they do not show any recent donors or donations on their campaign pages. These campaign types include Standard Donations campaigns, Impact-Giving campaigns, Auctions, Ticketed Events and all Giveaways/Raffles. All participants in these campaigns are automatically anonymous, so no extra step needed!
