Making a pledge from your phone is easy with BetterWorld! After your pledge, you will receive an automatic email with a link to the check-out page where you can easily fulfill your pledge. Check out the video tutorial below!

Or you can follow this walkthrough on Paddle Raise campaigns:

  1. Navigate to the campaign using the link or QR code provided to you by the organization

  2. On the campaign page you can click the blue arrows to adjust your pledge amount

  3. The organization has pre-set pledge amounts. You can select one of these options or click Custom amount

  4. Optional: You can choose to make an anonymous pledge by clicking the Give anonymously before pledging. This will ensure your name is not displayed to the public, although the organization will still know you are the donor of your pledge.

  5. Once you have selected your donation amount, click Pledge

Note: You will not be charged at this time, all funds are collected at the end of the event.

Note: Some organizations will display the campaign's progress. The 3 most recent pledge amounts will be displayed there:

  6. After you make a pledge, you will be sent an automatic email from BetterWorld with a link to complete your payment

  7. When you are ready to pay, click Go to checkout

Note: If you have made multiple pledges, you will be charged for all your pledges in one transaction

  8. Now you can pay with the card saved to your BetterWorld account, or select Pay with a different card to enter a new card.

  9. Click Pay now to finalize your payment!

  10. Once the payment is processed successfully, you can return to the campaign.

  11. Thank you for fulfilling your pledge! You will receive a confirmation email that your payment was successful, with your receipt attached and the organization's EIN included at the bottom.
