After the Auction, you will receive an automatic email containing the link to complete your bid payment. This email will be titled "Congratulations on your winning bid!" and looks like this:

To pay for your bid, follow these steps:

1. Click the Go to checkout button to complete your payment.

2. Now you can choose a method to pay for your bid!

3. Once you complete your payment, an itemized receipt will be emailed to you. Here you can click Arrange to receive your items, to be brought to the fulfillment center:

4. Both emails will have a link to the fulfillment center, the previous email will have the name of your Auction item hyperlinked and look like this:

5. The fulfillment center is where you can select how you'd like to receive your item and communicate with the organization! If shipping is an option, you can pay additional shipping rates here:

At the end of the Auction, your card will be charged automatically, and you'll receive a receipt via email. Here's an example of what your email receipt will look like:

If the charge is unsuccessful, our system will send you an email with instructions to update your card information or retry the transaction. Below is an article on how to retry your payment.

Cards can be declined for any number of reasons!

The easiest thing to do is to head here and retry the charge manually. You would have also received an email after the payment was unsuccessful, including a link to retry your payment.

When retrying your payment, you can use either a new card or the one already on file. If the payment goes through, you'll see a confirmation on the screen. The payment status will then update automatically for both you and the nonprofit!

1. To change the card on file for a particular Auction item, head to the Bids page of your account.

Our payment service provider, Stripe, charges an industry-standard card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 on each transaction.

When a bidder wins multiple items in an Auction, they are charged once for all their items at the end of the Auction. For example, if you win two items with $100 bids, this is a breakdown after all fees have been taken into account:

For each campaign, we give you an opportunity on the bidding page or checkout page to cover the cost of the processing fee. If you do so, the organization will receive the full value of your winning bids! We calculate the donation amount that would result in the organization receiving 100% of your bid/donation value. The formula for calculating this amount is outlined here. If you opt in, we will charge your card for a donation in this amount when the Auction ends and payment is collected.
