How to Make a Donation using ACH or Bank Payments?

You can now make one-time and reoccurring donations using ACH/Bank payments!

This article will guide you through making a donation using an ACH payment!

1. After choosing your donation amount. You will be prompted to enter your credit card information. You can choose to use an ACH payment, by clicking Bank/ACH.

2. Now you'll be prompted to fill in necessary information such as the bank account holder name, email and address. After you have inputted this information you can go to the next step by clicking the Link new bank account button.

3. A notice will pop-up that BetterWorld uses Stripe to handle payments across our platform. Stripe is a payments company that handles transactions for some of the largest companies on the web, such as Lyft, Shopify, and Zoom. They are a PCI Level 1 Provider, and are equally committed to data security and the protection of donor information. For more information, here is Stripe’s about page. Click Agree and continue, to move forward with the ACH payment.


4. Next, search for your banking institution or select one from the suggestions provided.

5. Log into your banking institution using your username and password. Next, select the bank account you would like to use for this donation. Click Connect account.

6. You will receive a notification that your account was successfully connected. Click Back to BetterWorld, to finish checking out.

7. Now you will return to the checkout page in BetterWorld. Finish up by entering your name and address. Then click the Donate button to finalize your donation! You will get a confirmation that your donation was processed and a receipt sent to your email.
