Please Note: If you don't have a BetterWorld account, login to your guest account, click Recurring Donations, then click Edit to make changes to your recurring donation. Here's a step-by-step guide for donors with guest accounts.
How to pause a recurring donation
1. Navigate to your BetterWorld Account.
2. Click Recurring donations.
3. Here you will see a list of all recurring donations. Click the three dots in the Action column of the donation you wish to modify and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
4. On this page, you'll see 3 dots in the top right corner. Click the 3 dots, then Pause.
5. A pop-up box will ask you to confirm this action. Click Pause to confirm!
6. Done! A green confirmation box will appear in the top right corner, and the status will also update to show the paused donation.
How to reactivate a paused recurring donation
1. Navigate to your BetterWorld Account.
2. Click Recurring donations.
3. Here you will see a list of all recurring donations. Click the three dots in the Action column of the donation you wish to modify and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
4. On this page, you'll see 3 dots in the top right corner. Click the 3 dots, then Reactivate.
5. A pop-up box will ask you to confirm this action. Click Reactivate to confirm!
6. Done! A green confirmation box will appear in the top right corner, and the status will also update to show the now active recurring donation!
How to update the amount or frequency of a recurring donation
1. Navigate to your BetterWorld Account.
2. Click Recurring donations.
3. Here you will see a list of all recurring donations. Click the three dots in the Action column of the donation you wish to modify and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
4. On this page, you'll see 3 dots in the top right corner. Click the 3 dots, then Change amount or period.
5. A pop-up will appear where you can update the amount or frequency of a recurring donation. Make the changes there and click Save to confirm!
Please note: Only the frequencies enabled by the organization will appear as an option here. If your preferred frequency is not available, please reach out to the organization to inquire about different options.
6. Done! A green confirmation box will appear in the top right corner, and your screen will update with the new donation details!
How to change the card associated with a recurring donation
1. Navigate to your BetterWorld Account.
2. Click Recurring donations.
3. Here you will see a list of all recurring donations. Click the three dots in the Action column of the donation you wish to modify and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
4. On this page, you can update your payment method. You can choose another card from the dropdown menu or you can add a new one by clicking Card. For some campaigns you will also have the option to add a bank account instead of a card by clicking Bank Account.
Remember to click Save after you are done making changes.
How to cancel a recurring donation
1. Navigate to your BetterWorld Account.
2. Click Recurring donations.
3. Here you will see a list of all recurring donations. Click the three dots in the Action column of the donation you wish to modify and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
4. On this page, click the Cancel button to cancel your donation. Now you have successfully canceled your donation!
