Manually Add Pledges for Donors Who Contribute Offline

How to Create an Offline Pledge

1. From the dashboard click Donation campaigns, then Manage on your Paddle Raise campaign.

2. Click Donors on the left side of the screen, then Create an offline pledge along the top bar.

3. Next, input a pledge amount. Optionally add a description - fill this box with information that will be helpful to you and/or the donor in identifying this pledge amount.

Please Note: This description will appear on the donor's receipt. First name, last name, and pledge amount are required fields, the description box is optional. If you enter the donor’s email, they will automatically receive a dedicated checkout link to pay for their pledge(s).

4. Enter the donor’s information for a new donor or choose from an existing donor. Click Save.

Please Note: Existing donors can be searched by name or paddle number, if previously added. Some existing donors will have a checkmark next to their name. This check mark means that their account is verified. If possible you want to use the contact with a verified account to send the pledge invoice. If the paddle number you search does not have a contact with a checkmark, try searching your donor's name instead.


How to Send a Checkout Link

You may still record a pledge even if you choose not to enter the donor’s email. In this case, however, after recording the pledge, you’ll need to head back to your Donor’s table to manually share with them their unique "Offline checkout code" so that they can pay. Just click the code to copy the unique checkout link to your clipboard. You can then share this code via email or text.
